The autonomists

The Autonomists: Nathan is a botany student, and his professor sent him to investigate the flora of South America. His girlfriend, Natalie, was studying chemistry and went with him on this expedition, arguing rubbish scientific reasons to her professor. They are both brilliant, but also very pessimistic about the future, influenced by everything they hear on TV and the radio. So when they discover what this unknown plant has done to the animals around the expedition site, they return with samples. And, pretending to have an exotic disease, they locked themselves at home and decided not to publish their papers. After a week of arguing and discussing, they are both convinced that this plant can be an excellent starting point for solving many problems. So, Natalie calculated the amount of compound needed for their plan, and now it's time to proceed with the experiment.

The Autonomistes II - A bigger world: One year after Nathan got the dose of the shrinking serum, which his girlfriend, Natalie, had made. Amanda, their Doctor, discovered that the serum affects males and females differently. She theorized that testosterone catalyzed the shrinking reaction. So they dropped the idea of shrinking men while Nathan's size remained unstable. For a year, he had been slowly shrinking, and they had no idea if the poor man would continue to shrink.

The Autonomistes III - Another world: Diana was saved by the quick reaction of Claire (the nurse of the group) and her immunity to the serum. Now that Diana has also regained all her former size, she tried to know more about the plant using much better equipment than the shrunken Amanda could have access to during the second episode. The two women discover that the plant and, in a more significant proportion, its pollen contain a virus that produces a shrinking molecule, which alters the host's DNA to make it smaller. Then the group heard that a shrinking epidemic had started and immediately thought that Mia was responsible. So Diana and Nathan went on a crusade to find her and bring her back to make justice themselves.
